Dive into the timeless fun of Classic Tri Peaks, a solitaire card game that promises hours of engaging gameplay. Also known as Three Peaks, Tri Towers, or Triple Peaks, this game challenges you to clear three majestic peaks constructed from a single deck of cards.
The game kicks off with a tableau featuring eighteen cards, laid out face-down to create three pyramids, each with three overlapping tiers. Ten cards are placed face-up above these pyramids, setting the stage for your adventure. The remaining twenty-four cards form the stock, with the top card flipped to start the waste pile. Your mission? To move cards from the tableau to the waste pile, but there's a catch - the card you move must be either one rank higher or lower than the current top card of the waste pile, regardless of suit. This creates a dynamic sequence that can go something like this: 7-8-9-10-9-10-J-10-9-8, and so on. As you progress, any face-down cards that are no longer overlapped get turned face-up, revealing new opportunities to continue your streak.
