Cross-Play: Civilization VII unterstützt das Kreuzspiel, aber mit Einschränkungen. Spieler benötigen ein aktives 2K -Konto, das mit ihren ausgewählten Plattformen verbunden ist. Cross-Play-Funktionen über PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox-Serie X | S, Xbox One, PC, MacOS und Linux, bieten Standard-Kartengrößen und Player-Anzahl an.
