Easy Words is a fun, brain-training word game that's easy to get hooked on. Form words from letters to earn the highest score possible! Take a relaxing break, flex your logic skills, and compete with others to climb the leaderboard.
In this word puzzle, players take turns building words using letters from their hand. Each letter carries a point value. Your main goal is to score the most points by placing words on the board. Play this free word game anytime, anywhere, to keep your mind sharp.
The rules of Easy Words are straightforward:
- Play takes place on a 13x13 board.
- You and your opponent each draw 7 letter tiles from the bag. Connect letters in various ways and place them on the board to spell words.
- Words can be placed horizontally or vertically.
- The first player must place a word of at least two letters, with one tile covering the center square.
- The board has 44 bonus cells. Placing a tile on one multiplies the points for that letter or the entire word.
- If you draw a Joker tile, great news! It can stand in for any letter you need.
- The game ends when one player uses their last tile, both players pass twice in a row, or no valid moves remain. You can also resign, but that grants victory to your opponent.
- The player with the highest score when the game ends wins.
Easy Words features:
- Word definitions. The built-in dictionary shows definitions for every word played, helping you learn new vocabulary as you enjoy this free word game for adults.
- Hints. Stuck on a puzzle? Use a hint to see the highest-scoring word possible with your current letters, factoring in bonus cells for maximum points.
- Swap. Out of ideas? Swap tiles from your hand to draw new random letters from the bag—a classic way to find fresh inspiration.
- Shuffle. Rearrange the tiles in your hand to get a new perspective and spot word possibilities you might have missed.
