Saber Interactive ha confirmado oficialmente que Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 se lanzará sin ningún software DRM (gestión de derechos digitales). Este anuncio aborda una preocupación común entre los jugadores con respecto a los impactos en el rendimiento y posibles problemas de compatibilidad que a menudo se asocian con DRM. El próximo lanzamiento del juego el 9 de septiembre estará libre de Denuvo o tecnologías similares.
