Le modder xoxor4d a introduit un mod de compatibilité innovant qui intègre de manière transparente la gauche 4 Dead 2 avec la technologie de traçage de chemin RTX de pointe. Ce mod sert de pont à RTX Remix, améliorant l'expérience visuelle du jeu sans modifier ses actifs d'origine.

Traditionnellement, Left 4 Dead 2 utilise un pipeline à fonction fixe pour rendre la plupart de ses objets en jeu. Cependant, avec ce mod, les joueurs peuvent désormais s'immerger dans un éclairage dynamique et des réflexions réalistes à travers le traçage des chemins. Bien que le mod n'introduit pas de nouvelles textures PBR et puisse présenter des imperfections visuelles mineures, elle élève nettement la fidélité graphique du jeu.
