ポケモン TCG Pocket には、物理的なカードゲームから直接「毒状態」などの特別な状態が組み込まれています。毒にかかったアクティブなポケモンは、治癒するかノックアウトされるまで、各ラウンドの終了時にHPが10減少します。この効果はラウンドのチェックアップフェーズ中に計算され、自動的に期限切れになることはありません。他の特殊状態と組み合わせることができますが、複数の毒効果は重複しません。 HP 損失は 1 ターンあたり 10 のままです。ただし、このステータスは、毒をかけられた相手に対するダメージブーストを得るムクのようなカードによって悪用される可能性があります。

トップティアのアーキタイプではありませんが、グリマー、アーボック、ムクのシナジーを中心に強力な毒デッキを構築できます。 Grimer はすぐに毒を与え、Arbok は敵を罠にかけ、Muk は重大なダメージを与えます (毒を与えられた敵には 120)。
