Permissions
Lineage W requires certain permissions for a smooth gaming experience. Optional permissions are not mandatory and can be adjusted in your device settings.
Optional Permissions:
- Storage (Image/Media/File): For screenshots, video recording, bulletin posts, inquiries, and profile pictures.
- Microphone: For voice recognition (STT), video sound recording, and audio recording.
- Notifications: For in-game information and promotions.
How to Manage Permissions:
- Android 6.0 or higher: Device Settings > Privacy > Permission Manager > Select permission > Select app > Allow or Remove. Alternatively, Device Settings > Apps > Select app > Allow or Remove.
- Android versions below 6.0: Permission management is limited. Permissions can only be removed by uninstalling the app. Upgrading to Android 6.0 or higher is recommended.
