Mindi is an engaging and intellectually stimulating team-based trick-taking card game that's absolutely free to play online. Known also as MindiKot, Mendhi Coat, Mindi Multiplayer, or Dehla Pakad (which translates to "Collect the tens"), this game is designed for four players divided into two partnerships, sitting opposite each other. It's played with a standard 52-card deck, and the player who draws the highest card initially becomes the dealer, responsible for shuffling and dealing 13 cards to each player.
The objective of Mindi is to win tricks that contain tens. The game is split into two exciting modes, allowing you to choose your preferred style for unlimited fun:
- Hide Mode: The player to the dealer’s right selects a card and places it face down on the table, which will then be declared as the trump suit for that round.
- Cut Mode: Play begins without choosing a trump suit. If a player is unable to follow suit, the card they choose becomes the trump for the deal.
Once a trump suit is set for the hand, the highest card of the trump suit played to the trick wins it. If no trump card is played, the highest card of the suit led wins the trick. The winner of each trick leads the next one, and all captured tricks are kept in a face-down pile by the winner.
If one partnership captures three or four of the Tens, they win the hand. Capturing all four Tens is called a Mendicot, marking a significant achievement in the game.
