Greak: Memories of Azur Is Coming Exclusively to Android
This single-player side-scrolling Metroidvania platformer presents a beautifully crafted 2D hand-drawn art style, which stands as one of its most compelling features. The narrative follows the journey of three siblings: Greak, Adara, and Raydel. Players alternate between these characters while traversing an interconnected world.
Greak serves as the central protagonist. Together with his older brother Raydel and sister Adara, these three siblings make up the game’s core cast. Greak is the most agile, capable of squeezing through narrow spaces thanks to his small build. He fights with a Laurean Sword inherited from Raydel.
Adara, a magic user from the Prya monastery, can levitate and dive underwater. Her ranged spellcasting abilities make her a valuable asset for both exploration and combat. Raydel, the strongest warrior of the trio, uses a hookshot for mobility and contributes significant combat power and defensive skills with his shield.
What’s the Story?
The world of Azur is crumbling under the weight of a centuries-long invasion. The Courine people are being driven from their homeland by a corrupting force that spreads using strange creatures. Players must strive to keep their family united while solving environmental puzzles and battling numerous threats.
Greak: Memories of Azur features a total of 25 trophies, distributed as 8 bronze, 9 silver, 7 gold, and one platinum. The game’s puzzles are built around the distinct abilities of each character. It skillfully merges engaging gameplay with immersive storytelling, setting it apart from typical platformers.
