Get ready, gamers! The much-anticipated release date for Among Us 3D has been officially announced, and it's set to launch on May 6, 2025. Schell Games and Innersloth have teamed up to bring this exciting new dimension to the beloved Among Us universe, and they're not holding back on the details.

On April 16, the official Among Us 3D Twitter (X) account shared the news that players can mark their calendars for May 6, 2025. Originally known as Among Us VR, the game has been rebranded to Among Us 3D to offer a broader, cross-play multiplayer experience. This week, the developers also introduced a new currency called Stardust, which offers players more flexibility and never expires.

Among Us 3D is set to bring a host of new features including a permanent Tag Mode with an Infected role, native proximity voice chat, limited-time events, new and returning mini-games, and an array of fresh cosmetics. The game promises to keep players engaged with its dynamic gameplay and immersive environment.

It's important to note that Among Us 3D is distinct from the original Among Us VR, which was released in 2022. Schell Games clarified on their website's FAQs that Among Us 3D is a completely separate game, stating, "Separating the versions during this development allowed/allows us to continue to bring quality updates to our Among Us VR beans while ensuring the highest quality and tailored experience for our new PC players."

Wishlist Campaign

The excitement doesn't stop there. Among Us 3D is now available for wishlisting on Steam, and Schell Games has launched a wishlist campaign named the Powered By Wishlists Challenge. By reaching specific milestones, fans can unlock a variety of in-game rewards:
