6 Cartoon Network Games Have Been Delisted

Warner Bros. Discovery's sudden removal of several Cartoon Network and Adult Swim games has sparked significant fan backlash. Without explanation, at least six titles vanished from digital storefronts like Steam and the Nintendo eShop on December 23rd, 2024. This includes beloved games such as Steven Universe: Save the Light, Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, and Adventure Time: Finn and Jake's Epic Quest (initially released in 2014).

The delistings are attributed to Warner Bros. Discovery's cost-cutting measures, mirroring previous actions involving film projects and streaming content. A similar incident in March 2024 saw several Adult Swim games facing delisting, though public outcry prevented some removals. This time, however, the publisher offered no prior notice or explanation for the removal of these titles, leaving fans frustrated, particularly regarding Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, whose removal effectively limits access to the show's canonical conclusion.

The affected games include:

  • Adventure Time: Finn and Jake's Epic Quest
  • Adventure Time: Magic Man's Head Games
  • OK K.O.! Let's Play Heroes
  • Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time
  • Steven Universe: Save the Light
  • Steven Universe: Unleash the Light

It's noteworthy that some Cartoon Network Games remain available, such as Cartoon Network Journeys VR and Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake, along with the soundtrack for OK K.O.! Let's Play Heroes. The lack of transparency from Warner Bros. Discovery, Cartoon Network Games, and Adult Swim Games regarding the reasons behind these delistings continues to fuel fan discontent.
