Airi Build Guide: Mastering Airi in Blue Archive

Author:Kristen Update:May 21,2025

Airi may not be the flashiest unit in Blue Archive, but her unique support toolkit can truly shine in specific scenarios. In this RPG, she's celebrated for her ability to manipulate attack speeds through debuffs and buffs, making her a valuable asset when controlling the tempo of battle is more crucial than dealing raw damage. While she might not be a common pick for general gameplay, Airi finds her niche in late-game raids such as ShiroKuro (Insane), where her skills play a pivotal role in managing boss mechanics effectively.

For new players or those focused on general progression, Airi isn’t an essential unit to invest in. Her EX Skill is costly and only effective in certain situations, and her overall impact is less noticeable in battles where enemies remain in cover or don't move much. However, for seasoned players aiming to fine-tune their strategies for endgame raid encounters, Airi can be a valuable tool when utilized with precision.

What Makes Airi Special

Airi’s toolkit is centered around speed control. Her Sub Skill passively enhances the Attack Speed of all allies, while her Basic Skill consistently slows down the Attack Speed of a single enemy. This combination can subtly tilt battles in your favor, particularly in scenarios where disrupting or delaying enemy attacks is key.

When building Airi, don't prioritize damage stats. Instead, focus on ensuring her longevity and consistency on the battlefield.

Using Airi in Battle

In combat, Airi operates passively for the most part. Her Sub and Basic Skills activate automatically, requiring minimal micromanagement. This feature makes her an easy addition to any team needing support.

If you decide to employ her EX Skill, aim to use it when enemies are navigating through chokepoints or clustered together. The resulting slow effect can delay enemy movements and engagements. Specifically in ShiroKuro raids, her skills can be strategically used to alter boss attack patterns and boost your team's damage output during phase 2.

However, beyond this specialized scenario, her EX Skill may not be worth the 5 SP it costs, given its focus on soft crowd control.

While Airi doesn't rank among the most frequently used characters, she has her unique moments to shine. In late-game content like ShiroKuro (Insane), her toolkit provides a rare utility that can make a significant impact when timed correctly. Otherwise, she remains a niche support unit, best reserved for content that aligns with her strengths.

If you're planning to incorporate her into your team, emphasize her Sub Skill and integrate her into lineups that thrive on speed-based support. For the optimal experience in managing her skills and raid strategies, consider playing Blue Archive on PC using BlueStacks for enhanced control and performance.
