Amazon Slashes Prices on GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Gaming PCs

Author:Kristen Update:May 27,2025

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card hit the market in late February with a suggested retail price of $749.99, but finding one at that price is a challenge. As with the entire Blackwell series, both individual sellers and manufacturers have driven up the prices, often pushing the RTX 5070 Ti well over the $1,000 mark.

Fortunately, there's a savvy workaround to these inflated prices: opting for a prebuilt gaming PC. Amazon currently lists CyberpowerPC RTX 5070 Ti gaming desktops starting at just $2,069.99. This is a compelling option, especially when you consider that the RTX 5070 Ti delivers performance nearly on par with the RTX 4080 Super, even before adding in the benefits of DLSS 4. For comparison, the best deal on an RTX 4080 Super gaming PC I've spotted is at HP for $2,299.99. Unless you have a specific brand in mind, these prebuilt systems offer excellent value.

My top pick is the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme, which boasts an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, an RTX 5070 Ti GPU, 32GB of RAM, and a 2TB SSD. In her review, Jackie Thomas praised the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, noting that "the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D is extremely powerful in games, which makes it easier to recommend than other recent processors like the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K or Ryzen 9 9900X. Especially if you’re building a rig with a powerful graphics card, the 9800X3D is going to be the best way to get the most performance."

Among the Blackwell cards released so far, the RTX 5070 Ti stands out for its exceptional value. It competes closely with the RTX 4080 Super and even outperforms the RTX 5080, which is only 10%-15% faster but comes with a 33% higher price tag. The RTX 5070 Ti delivers high framerates in nearly all games, even at 4K resolution with ray tracing enabled. For those interested in AI applications, the RTX 5070 Ti might offer better value than the RTX 50870, as both cards feature 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU Review by Jacqueline Thomas

"At $749, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is the best 4K graphics card for most people, delivering much better value than either the RTX 5080 or 5090. Across my entire test suite, this GPU soared at 4K, coming within striking distance of much more expensive graphics cards, and that’s before taking multi frame generation into account, which will make the RTX 5070 Ti even better at hitting extremely high framerates, albeit with a hit to latency."

HP is offering its largest and most powerful HP Omen 45L gaming PC, equipped with a 14th-gen Intel Core i7-14700K CPU and GeForce RTX 4080 Super GPU, for just $2,299.99 after a $700 instant discount. This powerhouse can handle any game at up to 4K resolution. It delivers performance nearly identical to the RTX 5070 Ti and is about 10% less powerful than the RTX 5080, with the same amount of VRAM, albeit using GDDR6 instead of GDDR7.
