Bam Margera, the former professional skateboarder and Jackass star, will indeed be featured in the upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, despite initial reports suggesting otherwise. This exciting news was shared by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

According to Bagley, the game was already complete when Tony Hawk personally intervened, requesting Activision to include Margera in the lineup. Although initially told it was not possible, Hawk's determination ensured that Margera would be part of the final roster. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.

Margera's inclusion comes after a period of public struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, which included multiple rehab stints. He was also fired from the Jackass Forever project and faced a restraining order from Jackass director Jeff Tremaine following alleged threats. However, recent footage of Hawk and Margera skateboarding together had already sparked speculation about Margera's return to the game.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across multiple platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, the game overcame significant hurdles, including the threat of cancellation following Activision's merger of previous developer Vicarious Visions with Blizzard.
