Bandai Namco Partners with Rebel Wolves for Upcoming Dark Fantasy RPG, Dawnwalker

Bandai Namco Entertainment, the publisher behind Elden Ring, has announced a global publishing agreement with Rebel Wolves for their debut action RPG, Dawnwalker. This exciting partnership promises to bring a new dark fantasy experience to players worldwide.

Rebel Wolves, a Polish studio comprised of key personnel from The Witcher 3, is poised to launch Dawnwalker in 2025 for PC, PS5, and Xbox.

A Story-Driven AAA Experience

Set in a medieval European backdrop, Dawnwalker offers a mature, story-driven AAA action RPG experience filled with dark fantasy elements. Further details are anticipated in the coming months. Founded in 2022, Rebel Wolves aims to elevate the RPG genre with their narrative-focused approach.

Leading the charge is Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, a CD Projekt Red veteran and lead quest designer on The Witcher 3, who serves as Rebel Wolves' creative director. The game's narrative is helmed by Jakub Szamalek, a co-founder and narrative director with over nine years of experience at CDPR. The scope of Dawnwalker is anticipated to be comparable to The Witcher 3's Blood and Wine expansion, with a non-linear storyline.
