Battle Crush Announces EOS Just Few Months After Early Access Launch

NCSoft has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush. This is surprising, especially considering the game never reached its full release. Following a global test in August 2023 and an early access launch in June 2024, the game is shutting down just months later.

Battle Crush Shutdown Date:

The game servers will be permanently closed on November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have been halted, but refunds are available for purchases made between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024.

Refund requests for Android and Steam players can be submitted from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Players should download any desired content before November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward. The official website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for any necessary support. Social media and Discord will close on January 31st, 2025.

Unexpected Closure?

The sudden closure is undoubtedly disappointing for players who invested time and effort into Battle Crush. While enjoyable, the game's gameplay reportedly suffered from occasional clunkiness and pacing issues, ultimately hindering its success. This lack of polish likely contributed to the decision to shut down the servers.

You can still download and play Battle Crush on the Google Play Store before the November 29th deadline. For more gaming news, check out our next article covering the story-driven Autumn Season quests in Black Desert Mobile.
