Battlefield 6 Hidden Room Discovery has Players Developing Theories and Searching for Easter Eggs

Battlefield 6 players are buzzing with theories about hidden Easter eggs and upcoming updates after a fan uncovered a secret room tucked inside the firing range.

Speculation about a concealed space at EA and Battlefield Studios began when Reddit user Mobile_Cyberdemon_as posted footage of their character clipping into an unseen area behind the weapon testing zone. The dark, narrow room is accessible only through a locked door marked with a red “Keep Door Closed” sign.

It’s tempting to dismiss spaces like this as leftover assets, but fans are convinced there’s more to it.

Battlefield 6 only launched weeks ago, so BF Studios may have had bigger plans for this hidden alcove behind the firing range. Still, small clues have sparked plenty of theories about its purpose.

“Given the gates, it looks like a vehicle hangar under development,” one fan theorized. “I hope they eventually add a proper shooting range, not just this one room.”

Other Battlefield 6 players have also proposed expansions to the firing range, suggesting this room could evolve into a dedicated testing zone. The community has long wanted more room to experiment with vehicles, especially since launch, as players have spent hours using helicopter and jet spawns just to practice takeoffs.

Another popular idea is that the space was meant as a compact upgrade to the firing range—letting players test weapons and attachments more efficiently. Some have even suggested using the flashlight attachment to scan for hidden Easter eggs buried in the walls.

Many theories stem from what players wish the game had. The hidden room could be an Easter egg, a cut feature, or a future update—but it’s also possible fans have walked past it countless times before Mobile_Cyberdemon_as brought attention to it.

“You can see the same striped wall in the weapon customization screen,” one popular fan theory said. “That’s why the firing range loads so fast—you’re already inside it the whole time.”

“My guess is that when you’re in the menus, you’re actually standing in this room, with your view locked to the UI and different walls acting as backdrops for each menu screen,” another player added.
