Exciting news for fans of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6! Developer Treyarch has just unveiled a brand-new map for the beloved round-based survival mode, Zombies. This map marks the fifth addition to the game's repertoire and promises an intense new setting for players to explore and survive. The sneak peek, shared via the official Call of Duty and Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch Studio's X (formerly Twitter) accounts, showcases the front of a grand mansion visibly damaged with flaming army car wreckage, dark puffs of black smoke, and internal fires.

The teaser image, dated March 12, 2025, is accompanied by a caption stating, "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" and tagged with "#Zombies." Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, a fan-favorite character known for his significant role in Call of Duty: Cold War, is set to make a return in this remake. Observant fans have noted that the map is the Mansion from Liberty Falls, set in February 1991, aligning seamlessly with the narrative established in the previous Black Ops 6 Zombies map, The Tomb.

In a thrilling twist, Treyarch has confirmed on their Instagram account that this new map will not feature Amalgam enemies. When a user expressed anticipation for facing "20 amalgams on this map too," the developers responded with a definitive "Nope." Amalgams, known for their high health and devastating attacks, are typically elite class enemies. Their absence from this map could mean a smoother gameplay experience for players tackling the challenges within the Mansion.
