Bruxish and Flabébé Join Pokémon GO

The Pokémon GO Festival of Colors is set to make a spectacular return in 2025, running from March 13th to March 17th. This event promises to immerse trainers in a kaleidoscope of vibrant Pokémon spawns and exclusive bonuses. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of this colorful celebration.

Celebrate the Festival of Colors with Pokémon GO

Get ready for a delightful surprise at every PokéStop during the Festival of Colors. Lure Modules will now last a full three hours, turning your favorite spots into bustling Pokémon hubs for longer periods. This extended time is perfect for catching more Pokémon and enjoying the festive atmosphere.

For those on the hunt for the dazzling Bruxish, activating Incense will significantly boost your chances of encountering this flashy fish. The Incense effect will last for two hours, with the exception of Daily Adventure Incense. Additionally, each day offers a unique opportunity to take photos and potentially encounter a Shiny Smeargle photobombing your snapshots.

The charming Floral Flabébé is making its grand entrance in various regional colors. Trainers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa will encounter the Red Flower Flabébé, while those in the Asia-Pacific region can find the Blue Flower Flabébé. In the Americas, the Yellow Flower Flabébé awaits. Meanwhile, White Flower and Orange Flower Flabébé might appear anywhere, adding an element of surprise to your encounters. Alongside these floral friends, keep an eye out for Drowzee, Magikarp, Natu, Aipom, Meditite, and Dwebble, which will be more prevalent during the event.

Mega Raids during the Pokémon GO Festival of Colors will feature the formidable Mega Swampert. Additionally, completing Field Research tasks will reward you with event-themed bonuses, including Stardust and encounters with some of the special Pokémon making appearances.

Special Bonuses for Holi Players

In celebration of Holi, the Festival of Colours in India, Pokémon GO offers exclusive bonuses for trainers in India. You'll have access to regional exclusives through branching Timed Research, one-star raids featuring a Pikachu adorned in a kurta, and an additional Candy for every Pokémon caught in raids.
