When is the Pokemon GO Bug Out Event?

The Bug Out event in *Pokemon GO* kicks off on March 26 at 10 AM local time and runs until 8 PM local time on March 30. It's also an excellent time for Shiny hunting, as nearly every featured Pokemon has a Shiny variant in *Pokemon GO*.

New Pokemon During the Bug Out Event

Timed Research rewards include a Lure Module and encounters with the event's Pokemon. For those opting for the Paid Timed Research, you'll receive a Lure Module, two Premium Battle Passes, and encounters with the event's Pokemon. Make sure to complete both types of research and claim the rewards before the event concludes.

Starting with the Bug Out event, new bug-type themed Avatar items will be available in the in-game shop, including:
