The Ryzen 7 5700 processor, with its 4.6GHz max turbo frequency, 8 cores, and 16 threads, provides ample power for gaming, where performance is largely GPU-dependent. While not the fastest CPU available, it won't bottleneck the RTX 4070. Note that the motherboard uses DDR4 RAM, which is currently more affordable than DDR5, making upgrades easier and cheaper.
