CD Projekt Red Seeks Talent for Project Hadar

Marcin Blacha, the Vice President and Narrative Lead at CD Projekt Red, has highlighted the need for an "exceptional team" to bring Project Hadar to life. If you're a skilled developer, you're encouraged to explore the open positions and help shape this ambitious project.

Unlike CD Projekt's previous ventures such as The Witcher series, which draws inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels, and Cyberpunk 2077, which is based on a tabletop RPG, Project Hadar introduces players to an entirely new universe crafted by CD Projekt. While details are still under wraps, it's confirmed that the game will not delve into space horror. Until recently, only a small team of around twenty individuals were dedicated to its development.

Currently, the Hadar team is actively seeking to fill several key roles, including programmers, VFX experts, technical artists, writers, and mission designers. The enthusiasm from top developers, who describe this as a "once-in-a-lifetime chance," suggests that Project Hadar is moving from early conceptual stages into full-scale production.

CD Projekt Red is simultaneously managing multiple projects. The largest team is focused on Project Polaris, the inaugural installment of a new Witcher trilogy centered around Ciri. Additionally, two other teams are diligently working on a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and another game set within The Witcher universe.
