What is Challenge Mode?

Challenge Mode in Phasmophobia offers a weekly, rotating contract with unique conditions and pre-set equipment. The challenge resets every Sunday. Each challenge requires successful completion of the contract three times (not necessarily consecutively) before the weekly reset. Correctly identifying the ghost is crucial for each attempt. While optional objectives offer bonus points and aid in character prestige, they aren't mandatory for challenge completion. A successful challenge yields a $5,000 reward plus accumulated points.

Conquering the "Do As I Command" Challenge

The "Do As I Command" challenge is considered one of the easier Challenge Mode options. The ghost's activity is subdued, requiring players to actively elicit evidence. The contract is set in Sunny Meadows (the "Restricted" version is excluded).

The challenge provides a Tier 3 equipment loadout. The fuse box is functional, so activate it upon arrival. While Sunny Meadows contracts can be challenging, especially with less active ghosts, this challenge offers a significant advantage: all seven Cursed Possessions are available in the chapel.

Utilizing the Cursed Possessions (such as the Haunted Mirror, Ouija Board, Voodoo Doll, or Monkey Paw) can expedite ghost location identification and encourage ghost activity, although use these cautiously due to potential sanity loss and cursed hunts.
