Crashlands 2 Compendium Returns in Update 1.1

Crashlands 2 has just received a major update with the release of version 1.1. Developer Butterscotch Shenanigans introduced the patch after facing some hurdles, incorporating several features long-time fans of the original Crashlands have been eager to see return.

What’s New in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?

Legend Mode is now available, offering a significantly greater challenge than the existing Challenge Mode. On the planet Woanope, enemies are faster, inflict more damage, and have beefed-up health pools, while protagonist Flux Dabes is more vulnerable than ever.

No additional achievements are awarded for conquering this mode, but you will automatically unlock all lower-difficulty achievements as a completion bonus.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, a new Explorer Mode caters to players who prefer peaceful activities like farming mushrooms, building cozy homes, and fishing without the constant threat of danger.

This mode greatly reduces combat intensity, allowing you to immerse yourself in the narrative, design your base, and enjoy the quirky and delightful characters of Crashlands 2.

The most significant addition is the return of The Compendium. The developers clearly listened to community feedback following the game’s launch. The Compendium meticulously logs everything Flux discovers, tracking the number of pets, recipes, and items you still need to find to achieve full completion.

Pets have also received some enhancements

With the launch of Update 1.1, pets now actively assist you in combat. Additionally, each pet possesses a unique ability that can be activated once every 20 seconds.

Gear crafting now offers more variety, as randomly generated bonus stats are applied when you create new armor. The update also introduces a range of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets.

Quality-of-life improvements are found throughout Crashlands 2 update 1.1. Players can now build on a wider variety of terrain types, customize the placement of their home teleporter, and adjust the level of darkness during nighttime.

Download Crashlands 2 from the Google Play Store. The game originally launched on April 10th, and this substantial patch demonstrates the developers' commitment to addressing player feedback.
