Arise Crossover Beta: Ultimate Beginner's Guide

Author:Kristen Update:Mar 26,2025

*Arise Crossover* might seem straightforward at first glance—you gather Shadow units and attack enemies to enhance your team. Yet, even seasoned players often find themselves puzzled about progression, leveling up, and choosing the right Shadows. If you're feeling lost, this comprehensive guide is here to help you navigate through the game effectively.

How Shadows Work in Arise Crossover

In *Arise Crossover*, each of the three islands hosts multiple recruitable Shadows and one formidable dungeon Shadow. Shadow types range from the weakest, **Soondoo**—available right from the start—to the most powerful, **Mifalcon**, which you can acquire on Brum Island. However, it's not just about the type; **ranks** play a crucial role. **A Rank A Soondoo can outperform a Rank D Mifalcon**. Higher-ranked units have the potential to reach higher levels; for instance, **a Rank D unit caps at Level 75, while an SS unit can reach Level 200**. Your ultimate goal should be to assemble a team of four SS-ranked Mifalcons, but reaching that point is part of the journey.

Dungeon Portals in *Arise Crossover* spawn every 30 minutes and remain active for 15 minutes. Even if you enter a portal just before it closes, you can complete the entire dungeon. Portals appear at various locations on each island with random difficulty ranks. Start by forming a team of Rank D units and tackle a Rank D or C dungeon on Leveling Island to bolster your roster, potentially recruiting rare (boss) Shadow Units. **Dungeons are your primary source for recruiting Rare and higher-ranked common units**.

Whenever a portal spawns, head towards it. Even with a weaker team, position yourself near the portal and wait for a more experienced player to join. Many players can solo these dungeons and are often willing to help lower-level players. This generosity can help you secure higher-ranking units, which is essential for progression in *Arise Crossover*. We've benefited from such kindness, progressing from Rank C units through a Rank A dungeon, and eventually helping others with Rank D units navigate a Rank S dungeon.

Arise Crossover Weapons

During this Beta phase, weapons in *Arise Crossover* have minimal impact. Early in the game, they may provide a small damage boost, but their effectiveness diminishes quickly. The **Iron Kando Blade**, the strongest common weapon available, costs 60 million and deals 516.1K damage—negligible compared to your units' 200 to 400 million damage output. Unless you're willing to spend extravagantly, it's wise to save your resources until weapon mechanics are updated.

How to Get a Mount in Arise Crossover

Similar to dungeons, wild mounts spawn every 15 minutes, with only one player on the server able to attempt claiming each mount. A server-wide message signals a new spawn, but not when someone else claims it or if it disappears. Mounts can appear in six locations: on islands behind the main ones or on smaller islands between major ones. Check the developer's map for specific locations.

You can't claim the same mount twice, and attempts can fail. **Flying mounts are the rarest**, with a 10% spawn rate, while ground mounts are more common, and water mounts can be purchased from the Boat Shop NPC. To acquire a mount, monitor the server messages and race to the six possible spawn locations. While mounts aren't necessary for progression, a flying mount significantly eases travel. We're still on the hunt for our flying mount!

That's the essence of *Arise Crossover* at the moment. As the game evolves with updates, we'll continue refining this guide. In the meantime, don't forget to check out *Arise Crossover* codes for some free rewards to enhance your gameplay experience.
