The narrative of World of Warcraft: The War Within continues. Beyond the Siren Isle update, Season 2 is anticipated in late 2025, introducing fresh endgame content and the expansion's next chapter. However, Patch 11.0.7 includes new story quests setting the stage for Patch 11.1, focusing on the Goblin capital, Undermine. A separate questline concludes the tragic destruction of Dalaran, though it wasn't immediately available upon patch release.

The Dalaran Epilogue questline provides closure, bidding farewell to a significant social hub in Wrath of the Lich King and Legion.

How to Begin the Patch 11.1 Prologue

Unlike the Dalaran Epilogue, the "Lingering Shadows" campaign begins immediately. Completion of the leveling or Level 80 campaigns isn't required. For optimal understanding, complete prior story content to avoid spoilers and enhance context. The "Lingering Shadows" campaign comprises:

• Together, Alone
• The Voice
• Ringing in the Deeps
• Good Help These Days
• Hey, What's Going On?

After "Found Friends," speak with Orweyna. Her quest, while not part of the main campaign, offers insights into potential future plot developments within The War Within or subsequent World Soul Saga expansions.

Initiating the Dalaran Epilogue in World of Warcraft: The War Within

Initially, this questline had a three-week delay. As of January 7th, this restriction is lifted. However, you must complete The War Within's leveling campaign and the Level 80 campaign (requiring Renown Four with all four Khaz'algar factions).

To verify completion, visit Foundation Hall (Patch 11.1 prologue location). If Khadgar is present (after January 7th), you can receive his quest. His absence indicates unfinished campaign quests. The Dalaran Epilogue quest list follows:
