Dead Cells Unveils Final Two Free Android Updates

The end is near for Dead Cells’ free updates, but the game lives on! Since its 2018 debut, Dead Cells has delivered a steady stream of fresh content. Now, the mobile version wraps up its journey with two final updates. Here’s what’s in store for Dead Cells Mobile players.

What’s New in the Updates?

The last two updates, Clean Cut and The End is Near, are now available on Android. While the game remains playable, the developers have concluded their update cycle. These final additions bring a thrilling, curse-infused twist to the experience.

Four new weapons debut, including oversized Sewing Scissors and the Misericorde sword, which unleashes massive critical damage on enemies below half health—but beware, failing to finish them off curses you.

Anathema, a heavy ranged weapon, detonates on impact but curses you if it hits anything. A new skill, Indulgence, delivers devastating damage via a beam of light and can dispel some curses.

Players can explore new modes like Speedrun and Boss Rush DIY, alongside 40 new customizable heads and an NPC for seamless head-swapping.

Fresh Mutations and Foes

New mutations shake things up. Cursed Flask lets you use your health flask without expending a charge. Damned Vigor grants a brief window to avoid death by defeating an enemy. Demonic Strength amplifies your damage when cursed.

New enemies add to the challenge. The Sore Loser clings to you, cursing you upon defeat. The Curser fires guided cursed skulls and slashes if you get too close. The Doom Bringer poses a lethal threat, potentially killing you if she stacks over 50 curses.
