Castle Doombad is back! The popular tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014, returns as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay on Android. Developed by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, this mobile version offers a thrilling experience for fans and newcomers alike.

Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans, initially planned a single Castle Doombad remake. However, they wisely split the project, creating Free To Slay for mobile and a remastered Castle Doombad Classic for PC (releasing later this year on Nintendo Switch and Steam), featuring updated content and enhanced features. A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.

In Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, players take on the role of a dastardly villain, building a formidable lair and repelling heroic invaders. Unlike typical tower defense games, your arsenal consists of cunning traps and mischievous minions.

The free-to-play game includes ads and optional in-app purchases. Enjoy the complete original game with 70 levels, daily challenges, and endless modes. Unlock and upgrade over 30 traps, and collect more than 100 items. A customizable cosmetic system, "spoils," lets you personalize your Dark Lord and his lair with evil artifacts. Combine these with equippable "Baddie Bonus" perks for strategic advantages.
