Discover the Enigma of Pepik in KCD2

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, after the initial storyline, you gain access to side quests and greater freedom of exploration. One such quest involves locating Vostatek's horse, Pepik, which yields substantial rewards upon completion.

The quest, "Lackey," is initiated by speaking with either Zlata at Vostatek's residence (west of Tachov) or directly with Vitek (slightly southeast of the house, marked 'B' on the map). This leads you north to where Vostatek is under attack by wolves.

Finding Pepik in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

After rescuing Vostatek, you must escort him to his campsite, where Pepik was tethered. Follow his instructions; be mindful of your stamina to avoid dropping him. Upon arrival, you discover Pepik is missing.

Follow the trail of clues leading to a poacher's camp. Examine each clue as prompted. The poachers have stolen Pepik, who is located at the rear of their camp. Strategically engage the poachers; eliminating those at the camp's edge individually is easier than a direct confrontation. Alternatively, you can bypass the tougher poachers within the camp and escape with Pepik. Note: There's no opportunity for rest between rescuing Vostatek and finding Pepik.

Return Pepik to Vostatek's camp. You can choose to fast travel with him back to his home, receiving a reward of Groschen and access to lodging.

With Pepik returned and your reward secured, you can proceed with other quests, romantic pursuits, or equipment purchases.
