The upcoming Developer_Direct presentation, just two days away, appears to have suffered a leak. A major French gaming site, Gamekult, inadvertently revealed the potential release date for the highly anticipated DOOM: The Dark Ages, a prequel to the modern DOOM games. Their article, announcing a May 15th release, was swiftly removed, but not before being captured in the site's RSS feed.

This corroborates earlier reports from insider NateTheHate, who also predicted a May launch for DOOM: The Dark Ages. With two independent sources pointing towards a similar release window, the May 15th date seems increasingly likely.
Microsoft is expected to officially unveil DOOM: The Dark Ages this Thursday during their Developer_Direct showcase. This medieval-themed prequel promises to retain the brutal, hellish action that defines the modern DOOM duology.
