Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studio is giving fans a voice in shaping the celebration of the Like a Dragon (LAD) franchise's 20th anniversary, culminating in December 2025. A unique fan voting project allows players to select their favorite in-game items for conversion into real-world merchandise.

One hundred iconic items are up for grabs, ranging from lingerie and incense to mahjong tiles, karaoke microphones, and even Kiryu's dragon mask. The winning item, determined by fan votes cast daily between February 8th and March 21st, 2025, is guaranteed to be produced and released within two years. A subsequent survey will finalize the design details.

More Yakuza Remakes on the Horizon?

RGG Studio hinted at potential remakes during their 19th-anniversary announcement on December 8th, 2024, echoing the success of their 10th-anniversary remakes (Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami). While specifics remain undisclosed, anticipation is high for further announcements leading up to the 20th anniversary.
