Therefore, the location's name will vary depending on the merchant's chosen name (e.g., Christopherburg). You must help this town grow to obtain the orb.

Locating Merchantburg (???)

After delivering Black Pepper to the King of Portoga and obtaining a ship, you can find Merchantburg. With quest markers enabled, it's located in the northeast corner of the world map. You can sail west from the coast to reach the easternmost edge of the eastern continent.

Optimal Timing for Visiting Merchantburg

While orb collection order is flexible, it's recommended to visit and establish Merchantburg early, after obtaining the ship. This allows the town to grow while you collect other orbs.

Acquiring the Yellow Orb

Establishing Merchantburg:

First, hire a merchant from PALS in Aliahan. Travel directly to Merchantburg to minimize combat.

Upon arrival, enter the building to meet an old man who needs a merchant to found the town. Assign your newly hired merchant to this task. The town will then be officially named.

Merchantburg's Growth and Your Return Visits:

Following the suggested path to the Purple Orb (Orochi's Lair) and Blue Orb (Gaia's Navel), you'll receive notifications to return to Merchantburg. The town undergoes five stages of growth, each marked by a notification. The final stage involves a large club's construction. After exiting the cabaret, be wary of a security guard who attempts to overcharge you.

During the fourth visit, you'll notice the merchant becoming arrogant, foreshadowing the town's rebellion.

The Final Visit and Obtaining the Orb:

Visit Merchantburg at night on your fifth visit. You'll find the merchant imprisoned in a house south of his former residence after a town revolt. Speak to him to learn the Yellow Orb's location. Return to the merchant's house; the orb is marked behind the sofa.
