"Dredge: Eldritch Fishing Sim Hits Mobile This Month"

Author:Kristen Update:May 05,2025

For all you fishing aficionados just dying to experience the sanity-shredding isolation of the deep sea, you'll be glad to hear that the wait is finally over. Dredge, the highly anticipated eldritch fishing simulator, is set to make its splash on mobile devices on February 27th, following a series of delays.

In Dredge, you step into the boots of a nameless fisherman navigating the eerie waters surrounding a desolate archipelago. Your primary task is straightforward: catch fish and sell them to the island's inhabitants. However, the game deepens as you manage your sanity, upgrade your vessel, and unravel the mysterious happenings veiled in the archipelago's fog, especially at night.

Originally slated for a later release, Dredge's mobile port was delayed until February 2025, as I reported late last year. The iOS App Store listing has now been updated to reflect the new release date, although the Android Google Play listing is yet to go live.

ytOh I do love to be beside the seasideDredge isn't just about the casual joy of fishing; it features a comprehensive upgrade system alongside a rich tapestry of Lovecraftian horror. While there's no confirmation yet on the availability of DLCs, the main game has already expanded its scope with additional content.

With its engaging low-poly aesthetic, Dredge is poised to become a favorite among mobile gamers. If you're as excited as I am about its arrival, mark your calendars for February 27th.
