Duck Detective: The Secret Salami Out Now

Duck Detective: The Secret Salami is now officially available on Android. Developed by Happy Broccoli Games and published by Snapbreak, this title lets you step into the webbed feet of Eugene McQuacklin, a trench coat-clad detective who waddles into a local bus company to solve a perplexing case.

Duck Detective Embarks on a Mission to Recover the Stolen Secret Salami

Here's the setup for Duck Detective. You play as a duck detective—complete with a trench coat—navigating a rough patch in life, and your newest case revolves around a missing lunch!

A seemingly trivial stolen lunchbox quickly escalates into a much larger conspiracy involving suspicious alpacas and simmering office rivalries. You'll even find yourself navigating passive-aggressive workplace drama.

Duck Detective: The Secret Salami features full voice acting. You'll meet a cast of eccentric animal coworkers who seem more baffled by your presence than worried about being unmasked.

As you explore the bus depot, you'll talk to these characters, gather clues, and jot down observations in your detective notepad. Your goal is to understand everyone's role, their relationships, and why a pilfered sandwich has become the focus of a full-scale investigation.

A Point-and-Click Adventure Filled with Uncomfortable Silences

Staring is an actual game mechanic—you can gaze at suspects until they become unsettled. There's even a dedicated quack button!

Duck Detective: The Secret Salami is a neo-noir parody. Picture yourself in a smoky jazz lounge with rain pattering outside, while you narrate your melancholic inner thoughts about divorce—as a duck.

If puzzle-solving isn't your focus, you can enable Story Mode, which streamlines the gameplay. You can try the first two levels for free before deciding to unlock the complete experience.

Fans of titles like Frog Detective, Later Alligator, or Return of the Obra Dinn will likely enjoy this game. Head over to the Google Play Store to give it a look.
