‘Dungeons of Dreadrock 2’ Announced, Launching on Nintendo Switch in November with Mobile and PC Versions to Follow

Approximately two and a half years ago, we were captivated by Dungeons of Dreadrock, a delightful gaming experience crafted by Christoph Minnameier. This dungeon crawler, reminiscent of classics like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder, offered a unique top-down perspective instead of the traditional first-person view. Its 100 distinct levels, each representing a floor in a sprawling dungeon, presented a compelling puzzle-like challenge as players rescued their brother. The difficulty was notable, with some levels resembling intricate logic puzzles requiring strategic trap activation and enemy engagement. Our review lauded the game, and its subsequent release across numerous platforms garnered similar acclaim. Now, we eagerly anticipate its sequel: Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 – The Dead King’s Secret.

The vibrant red backdrop and prominent Nintendo Switch logo, accompanied by the signature finger-snap sound, confirm that this Dungeons of Dreadrock installment will grace the Nintendo Switch eShop first, launching November 28th. However, PC gamers need not despair! A PC version is in development and available to wishlist on Steam. Mobile players on iOS and Android can also look forward to its arrival. While precise mobile release dates remain unclear, the confirmation of its release is encouraging. We'll provide updates as soon as further platform release information becomes available.
