Elden Ring Nightreign's First Network Test: Sign-Ups Open January 10th

The highly anticipated Elden Ring Nightreign, a cooperative Soulsborne experience, will hold its initial network test starting in February 2025. Registration opens January 10th, exclusively for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

FromSoftware and Bandai Namco unveiled Elden Ring Nightreign at The Game Awards 2024. Designed for three-player parties within The Lands Between, the game is slated for a 2025 release. This network test serves as a crucial pre-launch evaluation.

Limited Platform Availability:

While Elden Ring Nightreign targets PS4, Xbox One, and PC alongside PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, this initial network test is restricted to the latter two platforms only. Cross-platform play is not supported, meaning players will only be matched with others on the same console. Progress made during the test is not expected to carry over to the full game. Further betas are possible, but unconfirmed.

Party Size Restrictions:

The game will feature solo play and three-player parties exclusively; two-player parties are not supported. Whether the network test will impose additional gameplay limitations remains unclear.

How to Register:

1. Visit the official Elden Ring Nightreign network test website on or after January 10th.
2. Register, specifying your preferred platform (PS5 or Xbox Series X/S).
3. Await confirmation email.
4. Participate in the test during February 2025 (exact dates to be announced).
