"We unfortunately neglected to include proper two-player support during development," Ishizaki admitted. "Our primary focus was creating a well-balanced three-player co-op experience that forms Nightreign's foundation."

"We certainly considered solo play experiences from the outset," Ishizaki continued. "Substantial effort went into making the game enjoyable for single players within our designed systems. In prioritizing these elements, we didn't adequately address two-player functionality - something we're evaluating for potential post-launch updates."
