Elon Musk approves: Path of Exile 2 has received a major update and a handy name change feature

Path of Exile 2's latest update, 0.1.1c, addresses several key issues and introduces notable improvements. The Grinding Gear Games team has detailed the fixes and additions implemented.

Key Changes and Bug Fixes:

  • Cartwalker Machine Accessibility: Resolved a bug preventing access to the Cartwalker Machine after character transfers from solo league.
  • Local Cooperative Mode: Fixed multiple bugs in local co-op where Player 2 could inappropriately access Player 1's UI elements (e.g., high-level maps) and experience restricted movement between control points.
  • Increased Revival Attempts: Added up to five revival attempts in various challenging areas: Distorted Possessions, the Olroth boss fight, and the Essence of Nonexistence realm. Difficulty level determines the number of attempts. Dying before defeating the Host in The Mists now restarts the boss battle.
  • Character Renaming: A new feature allows players to rename their characters via the official website.

Continued Success and Ongoing Development:

Following the launch of Path of Exile 2, Grinding Gear Games maintains its prominent position on the Steam charts. While acknowledging initial launch challenges, the developers are actively working on further improvements and updates.
