What Happens When You Refuse Sargamis the Splinter?

Refusing Sargamis his splinter initiates a challenging boss fight. He summons spirit allies that primarily target your companion, Kai, while employing swift, far-reaching sword attacks. He's vulnerable to frost spells, making them a useful tactic. Victory rewards you with the Last Light of Day mace, a unique weapon with health regeneration and fire damage enhancements.

What Happens When You Give Sargamis the Splinter?

Agreeing to give Sargamis the splinter presents two main options (plus the option to change your mind, triggering a fight). First, you can persuade him to place himself in the statue, resulting in his death and yielding the Last Light of Day mace. Second, you can offer yourself to the statue, leading to further branching paths.
