The clip highlights diverse locations within the game world, the combat mechanics, multiple enemy types, and a brief glimpse of a cutscene. Familiar fans will recognize the iconic chicken kick making its return.

Previously, the head of Xbox Game Studios acknowledged the delay of Fable, pushing its release from 2025 to 2026. The justification revolves around the necessity for further polishing and refinement to ensure the final product meets expectations.

The highly anticipated reboot was initially teased on July 23, 2020, but details have been scarce ever since. After three years, it's evident that Fable remains in the early phases of development.

Considering the primary developer, Playground Games, sought assistance from Eidos Montreal and the prolonged absence of refined gameplay content, it's clear the project faces notable challenges.
