A brand-new State of Play has arrived, offering an exciting glimpse into the future of PS5 with a *ton* of upcoming titles. Alongside an intriguing preview of Saros, Housemarque's next project after Returnal, we also received fresh trailers and official release dates for major games like Borderlands 4, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, and more.

The broadcast was packed with reveals, including Days Gone Remastered, a new look at Onimusha: Way of the Sword, a brand-new Dynasty Warriors spin-off launching today, a sneak peek at WWE 2K25's immersive hub The Island, a revival of the Shinobi franchise, and much more beyond what anyone expected.

Saros Is Housemarque's Next Game After Returnal

Following up on the success of *Returnal*, Housemarque is back with *Saros*, set to launch exclusively on PS5 in 2026. While it shares some visual DNA with *Returnal*, *Saros* tells a new story set on the mysterious planet Carcosa, which is under threat from a looming eclipse.

Players will take control of Arjun Devraj (voiced by Rahul Kohli), a powerful Soltari Enforcer searching for answers on a lost off-world colony. The game features permanent progression systems, where each death reshapes the world while unlocking new upgrades to help overcome challenges.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Release Date Finally Confirmed — Officially This Time

During the broadcast, Konami officially confirmed that *Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater* will launch worldwide on August 28, 2025. Alongside the release date, a new gameplay trailer gave fans a deeper look at the title.

The game will feature a collaboration with Ape Escape, with possible additional crossovers still under wraps.

Borderlands 4 Release Date Confirmed

Gearbox officially announced that *Borderlands 4* will be released on September 23, 2025. To celebrate, the studio shared a brand-new gameplay trailer offering players a detailed look at the long-awaited sequel.

Additionally, a dedicated Borderlands 4-themed State of Play is scheduled to air later this spring.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword New Trailer Shows Off New Gameplay, Protagonist

Although *Onimusha: Way of the Sword* won't arrive until 2026, Capcom offered fans a taste of what’s to come with a brand-new gameplay trailer showcasing the game's protagonist—legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi.

Single-Player Action Game Tides of Annihilation Revealed During Sony’s State of Play 2025

One of the biggest surprises of the show was *Tides of Annihilation*, a stunning single-player action-adventure title blending fast-paced combat, a gripping narrative, and an unforgettable setting.

Set in a futuristic London overrun by otherworldly forces, players take on the role of Gwendolyn, who can summon members of the legendary Knights of the Round Table to aid her in battle. Prepare to face skyscraper-sized bosses in epic showdowns.

Days Gone Remastered Will Bring You Back to Its Freaker-Filled World This April

*Days Gone* returns to the PS5 platform on April 25, 2025, with enhanced performance including VRR and PS5 Pro support. Additional features include permadeath mode, speedrun mode, improved photo mode, accessibility upgrades, and a new Horde Assault mode.

Owners of the PS4 version can upgrade for just $10.

Sony Announces PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for February 2025

Sony revealed the latest additions to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for February 2025, including Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, TopSpin 2K25, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage - Tape 1, and more. Several indie titles like Blue Prince and Abiotic Factor were also announced for future inclusion.
