Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered on iOS is shutting down. This follows unresolved issues with in-game purchases, leaving some players unable to access paid content.

While the developers acknowledged these problems and worked on a solution, the fix unfortunately involves ending support for the iOS version. Players who made purchases after January 2024 can claim refunds.

Originally launched on Nintendo GameCube with a unique (though complex) multiplayer system using Game Boy Advances as controllers, Crystal Chronicles found renewed popularity on mobile. However, recent purchase issues have led to this unfortunate outcome for iPhone and iPad users.

Information on obtaining refunds for inaccessible content is available. While disappointing, this does ensure players aren't financially impacted by the game's closure on iOS.
