Tin Man Games has thrilled fans by adding the classic adventure Eye of the Dragon to the Fighting Fantasy Classics collection. Now available across all digital platforms including Android, iOS, and Steam for both PC and Mac, this release is a must-play for fans of old-school dungeon crawls.
This Is Its Official Digital Debut! -----------------------------------
For the first time since 2010, Eye of the Dragon is accessible digitally. Penned by Ian Livingstone, the co-founder of the series, this book first saw the light of day in 2005 as part of the Wizard Books reboot. Its origins trace back to a mini-adventure in Dicing with Dragons. With this launch, Eye of the Dragon proudly takes its place as the 19th title in the Fighting Fantasy Classics library.
In Eye of the Dragon, you're thrust into a perilous maze beneath Darkwood Forest, teeming with monsters. Your mission? Survive the dangers and claim the Golden Dragon, the most coveted treasure in Allansia. Your adventure begins in a tavern in Fang, where a mysterious stranger presents you with a life-altering opportunity, but it comes with a catch—downing a potentially lethal potion.
Navigating the dungeon, you'll encounter deadly traps, magical artefacts, scattered jewels, and plenty of creatures with sharp teeth. You might even meet an imprisoned dwarf, who could be more than just a simple non-player character.
Eye of the Dragon in Fighting Fantasy Classics Isn’t Just a Static Copy of the Book -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tin Man Games has enhanced this digital version with player-friendly features. You can choose from adjustable difficulty modes and a Free Read option, perfect for those who wish to explore without engaging in combat. The auto-mapping feature ensures you never lose your way in the labyrinth, while unlimited bookmarks and an adventure sheet keep track of your stats and gear effortlessly.
Eye of the Dragon now stands alongside iconic titles like The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, Deathtrap Dungeon, Assassins of Allansia, The Port of Peril, and others including Bloodbones, Forest of Doom, House of Hell, and Trial of Champions in the Fighting Fantasy Classics lineup.
Excitingly, Tin Man Games has more titles in the pipeline. Be sure to explore Fighting Fantasy Classics on the Google Play Store. Meanwhile, keep an eye out for our coverage of Pikmin Bloom’s Earth Day Event.
