Final Fantasy VII Ties Up With Boba Bear for Second Anniv.

Square Enix has just revealed the upcoming collaboration to celebrate the second anniversary of Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis. It is a Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis x Boba Bear Pop-Up event, featuring a mix of both offline and online activities.

The Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis x Boba Bear collaboration promises a bubblicious experience!

The collaboration takes place at Boba Bear in Los Angeles's Koreatown and will be open from September 22nd through December 31st, 2025. The shop at 414 S. Western Ave #C will be completely transformed into a real-life rendition of the Seventh Heaven Bar, fully themed around Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis.

The décor will faithfully recreate the bar's in-game atmosphere. Guests can enjoy themed beverages, mini-games, photo spots, and other small activities inspired by the game.

Before the pop-up officially opens to the public, Square Enix is hosting a Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis anniversary preview celebration at Boba Bear on September 7th, from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

During this preview, Square Enix community team members will be present to meet fans. Attendees can explore the immersive setup while enjoying drinks inspired by the game's iconic characters.

How can you participate?

Starting today, you can submit a request for Early Access via the official forums, with submissions accepted until August 24th. Only 25 players, each with one guest, will be selected to attend an exclusive gathering on September 7th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, featuring complimentary entry and a themed drink.

Early Access winners will be notified on or around August 28th with a formal invitation from Square Enix Customer Support. If you are not selected, another option is available: general reservations for the anniversary celebration open on August 30th through Boba Bear's platform.

Once the pop-up officially launches on September 22nd, anyone can visit the themed Seventh Heaven Bar experience. While reservations are not required, they are highly recommended for this limited-time event, which runs through the end of 2025.

This is the latest in Boba Bear's established history of anime and video game-themed takeovers. Their previous successful pop-up collaborations include events for One Piece, Naruto, Arcane: League of Legends, and Demon Slayer.
