Every new *Fortnite* season brings excitement, especially with changes to the Battle Royale map. But with Chapter 6, Season 2: Lawless, Epic Games introduces a thrilling new feature to its flagship game. Here's your guide on how to get and use *Fortnite* Moments in Chapter 6, Season 2.
When you first dive into *Fortnite* post-update, you'll be greeted with a flurry of new Quests, items in the Item Shop, and a fresh Battle Pass. Amidst all this, there's a subtle yet exciting addition in the main menu—*Fortnite* Moments.
Moments allow you to set the mood of your match by adding your choice of music as background tracks, from the moment you leap out of the Battle Bus to when you clinch a Victory Royale. It's an innovative feature from Epic Games, giving players the power to personalize their gaming experience with their own music library.
To enhance your Battle Royale adventure with a personal soundtrack, navigate to the Locker tab in the main menu and scroll to the Moments section. Here, you'll find two options: Intro Music and Celebration Music. It's straightforward to discern their purposes, and then it's just a matter of selecting the perfect song for each occasion.
Once you've selected a *Fortnite* Moment, your entire library of Jam Tracks will be at your fingertips. Take your time to browse through and pick the ideal track for your descent from the Battle Bus and the one to celebrate your triumphant win.
If the current selection in your library doesn't tickle your fancy, you can expand your collection by visiting the Item Shop and heading to the "Take Your Stage" section. As of now, there are over 300 Jam Tracks available, featuring artists like Metallica, Bad Bunny, Lil Nas X, and Super Bowl Halftime performer Kendrick Lamar.
Each song costs 500 V-Bucks, roughly $4.50, but the thrill of hearing your favorite tunes as you play is invaluable. For the best value, consider purchasing the Music Pass, which not only includes multiple Jam Tracks but also instruments and other accessories. The current Icon is Hatsune Miku, but the Music Pass also showcases songs from artists like Jennifer Lopez and CAKE.
If spending money isn't your style, you can always tune into the in-game radio during your Battle Royale sessions. But, let's face it, where's the fun in that?
And that's all you need to know about getting and using *Fortnite* Moments. For more excitement, check out the rumored collaborations for the Lawless season.
*Fortnite is available to play on various platforms, including the Meta Quest 2 and 3.*
