Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update can currently exploit a surprising tactic to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses. This unexpected strategy utilizes the Hydro Traveler, often considered a weak DPS character, to dramatically reduce enemy health.

The method is surprisingly straightforward. By strategically placing a large number of Xiao Lanterns (obtained during the Lantern Rite Festival) near a boss and then activating the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst, players can inflict massive AoE damage. The interaction between the Burst and the lanterns triggers a significant health reduction; hundreds of lanterns can result in millions of damage points.
