"Genshin Impact Update 5.5 Adds Exciting Volcano Area"

As the UK experiences a brief respite from the cold only to dip back into near-freezing temperatures, and spring struggles to take hold in many regions, Genshin Impact's upcoming 5.5 update, titled "Day of the Flame's Return," promises to bring the heat starting March 26th.

The update introduces an exciting new region to explore: the Great Volcano of Tollan in Natlan. This area features the long-hidden Sacred City of Tollan, a Dragonborn-built marvel that players can now venture into to unravel the secrets of the Flamelord's Blessing. The volcano's dangerous terrain is not to be underestimated, but adventurers won't have to brave it alone.

Joining the fray are two new characters to aid in your exploration. Varessa, a five-star Electro Catalyst user, delivers massive Electro damage, while Iansan, a four-star Electro Polearm wielder and one of the six heroes of Natlan, enhances attack damage and heals her allies, making her a valuable asset in combat.

Beyond the fiery landscapes, the update also introduces the final tribe of Natlan, the Tribe of Plenty, and a new Saurian creature, Tatankasaurus. Known for its strength and size, Tatankasaurus can shatter large rocks, adding a thrilling new element to the game's ecosystem.

Alongside these additions, the "Day of the Flame's Return" update brings a new seasonal event, the Tournament of Glory in Bloom, along with Event Wishes and more, all set to launch on March 26th.
