Path of Exile 2's Hidden Golden Idols: A Guide to Finding and Selling Them

Path of Exile 2 features many quests, some less obvious than others. Act 3 introduces Golden Idols, unique quest items not automatically logged. Unlike typical quest items, these aren't turned in for rewards; instead, they're valuable sellable items. There are five to find.

Locating the Golden Idols

After exploring the Vaal ruins beneath the Ziggurat Encampment and traveling to the past via a portal, you'll arrive in Utzaal (The Drowned City in the present). This area, representing the Vaal civilization at its peak, holds three Golden Idols. Two more are located in the connected area, Aggorat. These idols aren't enemy drops; they're found on the ground or pedestals, often in side rooms.

Selling Your Treasures

Once collected, return to the Ziggurat Encampment and find Oswald in the north. He'll buy your idols for a substantial sum:

• Golden Idol: 500 Gold
• Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
• Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
• Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
• Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold

Finding all five yields 6000 Gold. Given their size and sole purpose as high-value trade goods, sell them promptly to free up inventory space.
