Guild Wars 2's upcoming Janthir Wilds expansion will introduce Homesteads, a highly anticipated player housing feature. Offering unparalleled customization and convenience, Homesteads will be available early in the expansion's storyline. A first look reveals a robust system boasting over 300 placeable decorations at launch, with plans for 800+ by the expansion's end.

The instanced nature of Homesteads eliminates the competition and limitations often associated with player housing in other MMOs. Players enjoy complete freedom in placement, manipulating decorations across all three axes (X, Y, Z). This allows for creative and unique arrangements, with items able to float, be partially embedded, or interact with one another.
