In their latest update on Twitter (X), Supergiant Games announced that Hades 2 has been in early access since May 6, 2024, celebrating its first anniversary. The developer expressed gratitude to the fans for their support and indicated that they are moving steadily towards the game's full release.

Their post stated, "It's been incredibly exciting and eye-opening as we've worked to realize the potential so many of you see in our game. Thank you for all your feedback and patience as we get closer to the finish line!"

The original Hades followed a similar path, spending 22 months in early access before its full launch. However, Supergiant aims to bring Hades 2 to full release faster, starting with a time-exclusive launch on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Launching First on the Nintendo Switch 2

During an episode of Nintendo's Creator's Voice video series, Supergiant disclosed that Hades 2 will debut on the Nintendo Switch 2. With the Switch 2 set to launch on June 5, fans can anticipate Hades 2's release around that time.
